That's right! We're going to dub some lucky pet the official FFF Mascot! Imagine the glory! The fame! The wealth!

"So how do I do it?" You ask. Well I'll tell you.

Send a photo of your pet, either a digital picture via email (opalcat@fathom.org) or a paper picture via snail mail (PO Box 3874 / Reston, VA 20195) along with the pet's name, age, type/breed, and a description of your pet's personality and why you think they deserve to be the FFF Mascot.

Sumissions accepted until July 31.

A popular vote will decide the winner.

Winner will get a mascot homepage and an official FFF Mascot id tag, and perhaps some other goodies.

Are dead pets eligible? (Yeah I know, sick, ain't it?)
If so, I'd like to submit my dog "Lucky".

Qualifications:

Breed: 100% American! Also 'black' and 'handicapped', if that helps.(Hey, you don't think being dead is a handicap?)

Best Traits: Always sat by my side while I was on the SDMB, wagging tail and getting all excited when I laughed.

Personal: Likes to meet anyone new, greeting them with much excitement and tail wagging (just like PCW does!).

Honors: Won 'Best in Show' for 'Dog Most Likely to Become a Message Board Moderator".

Skills: Begging (hey, just look at that face, will ya!)

Here's a picture of the doppelganger of my biggest koi, Fatso:


I got him for my Birthday, last February, when he was only about 6 inches long. Now he's almost a foot long. He swims and eats...and eats...and eats. I shake the can of food when I'm about to feed the fish, and he's always the first one to make it to the edge of the pond waiting for supper. He'll eat out of my hand...Hell, he'll even try to eat my hand. Lucky for me, he has no teeth. He'd be proud to take the title of FATSO THE FABULOUS FORUMS OF FATHOM FISH.
