anyrose vs akennett

Move: 102
akennett to move next.
How To Play
This game uses a coordinate system to define moves on the chess board. Moves are defined by typing a pair of coordinates in brackets seperated by a , for example, to move the piece on square A2 to A4 you would type (a2,a4). If you have Javascript enabled this will be filled out into the quick reply box automatically for you if you click the piece followed by the square you wish to move it to.

In order to promote a pawn the syntax is slightly different. To promote a white pawn on square b8 to a queen you would type (b8,wQ) If the piece is black replace the w with a b. To Promote into a different piece change the Q for one of the following: Q - queen, R - rook, B - bishop, K - knight. If you have javascript enabled, you can use the pannel above to select the desired piece after clicking the square to place it on.

akennett: (f5,e4) Death to the King!!!!
anyrose: ok - or . . . (e3,e4) . . .you could win.
akennett: (a3,a2) true enough...want to call this one a draw?
anyrose: I sense that you'll soon graduate a pawn to your queen, then we could go on with you checking and me moving out of check back and forth for ever

akennett: (d4,e2) check
anyrose: (e7,d6)

akennett: (c4,b2) That's good...because otherwise, I might have to switch out my pawns for queens right where they stand.
anyrose: (h4,g2)
anyrose: the board will let me cheat and back up to take your knight, but I am going to play nice
akennett: Don't worry...I've almost finished writing my acceptance speech for the "Biggest Idiot Outside Whitehouse Walls" award.

anyrose: (d2,g5)
akennett: Yeah, more even. Time for one of us to make a stupid mistake, don't ya think?
akennett: (c6,a6)
anyrose: this game is much more even, don't you think? (it's because I'm paying attention)
anyrose: (a1,c1)
akennett: (c3,c6)

akennett: (c7,c3)
anyrose: (a2,a4)
akennett: (d8,c7) I knew I could play around with any pieces, but I'm not much of a strategist, so I don't use it to plot out possible moves...at least not very far.
anyrose: I just realized, I can play both sides (making at guess at what your strategy might be) for as many moves as I want, and then hit "reset" and take my turn. Did you know you could do that?
anyrose: (c1,h6)
akennett: (c7,d6) Taking my poor, innocent bishop again, eh?

akennett: (Knew the movie, don't have the dialog memorized, though)
akennett: Naturally... but I find that Thibault cancels out Capa Ferro. Don't you?
anyrose: I see you are using Bennetti's defense. You must expect me to counter with Capoferro. (you get a gold star if you know the correct response)(f1,h3)
