Today I slept in... and today is also the Halloween luncheon at work. Mmm... Too bad I didn't came in a costume. But at least I'll get to enjoy the food.

Poster for conference is done. Most of my research for the year is done. Lots of reading and couple of lingering cases to wrap up. The last couple of stressful weeks have come to a nice, sweet end.

And I got reimbursed for the plane ticket to the conference. Sweet!

Yep, going to party with Catz and the gang. Tom gets to wash the bugs off the car and clean the inside from the trips (s) back and forth from Phoenix. Its about time, I think.

Morning Fellow Birds!

Well, yes its a suprise but not really a suprise. There was a little kitten that was abandoned or dropped off at one of Catz's friends house, and we were planning on getting cats at some point anyway, so Tom and I adopted the kitten.

She is a little pistle! She had devilishly sharp little claws and knows how to use them! We are calling her Betty Boop or just Boopsie. Except for their jealousy of me and the food, the dawgs and cat are getting along.

I don't know what the day is going to be like today. My GI doc called and wants me to start taking Iron suplements and extra Vit C. We'll likely have to go into Fayetteville to get that. Meantime, I just want to go back to bed.

Brrrr! It's 37° this morning! The day is forecast to be sunny with the high around 59°.

I don't know what I'm going to do today. Just got up, haven't had more than a sip of coffee yet, too cold to go out to yard sales...yet. Fed the dogs, fed the cats, they're all healthy. However, I fear that gypsies have stolen Miss Dozer and left a changeling in her place. This cat loves to sit on my lap and purrs a lot...very cuddly. Definitely not my Grouchy Miss Dozer altho she looks exactly like her, right down to the crossed blue eyes.

Shipped a lot of stuff yesterday and then went on a buying trip. We came home with a van load of stuff and were out most of the day.

I killed some new spammers this morning. That's really slowed down...we used to get 15 or more a day, now it's usually 2 or 3. Understand, I'm not complaining.

It's 40 and sunny. It should slowly get warmer all week and we might get to 60 on Sunday.

It's not much warmer at work. My fingers are icing up and it's getting hard to type.
It's 3 days into the month and nothing major at home has broken yet.

I need to list some books and some other stuff on eBay today. Linda is sick and couldn't help with the housework this week, so I have to do that too. I took my crochet with me and joined the quilting ladies at church yesterday. I crocheted and gossiped while they quilted and gossiped. It was a nice way to spend a few hours.

Morning Fathom Friends!

Yes, it is beautiful here. The new kitty is getting along with the dawggies and being quite a pest. (in a good way) My arms look like I've been attacked by tiny ninjas, but I finally got her front claws trimmed and its much less painful to play with her.

Today I'm hoping to plant some bulbs for spring and hang more pictures. We may take a trip into town to go to Lowes.
